Hello November! Open Letter to My Awesome Fiancé.

Hey lovelies, 

Happy new month. As I welcome you to my wedding month, I'd love to share my open letter to my fiancé, Ray, with you. Originally written on November 1st, 2017, this letter doesn't even capture the excitement I feel in my spirit about being just days away from marrying the man of my dreams. Or the butterflies 😂😂😂😂😂.

Here goes;

I always wondered how people know they've met their life partner. Somehow, I assumed I would get married and then grow to love my man. It never occurred to me that I would meet someone whose love would open me to a world of miracles.

I said yes because God assured me you were the man for me, from whose side I was formed. God guaranteed you. It is a miracle that in the few months I've gotten to know you for myself, you've turned out to be exactly the man I want to spend my life with & more. You've strengthened my faith in God, in the wisdom that God still makes the best matches ever. 

Every day that I wake up, I thank God that you're the man I'll spend the rest of my life with. You're a man whose relationship with God inspires me to know God better. I admire that you're a hardworking man filled with integrity. I'm convinced that you'll be able to Love, Protect & Provide for me and the children God will bless us with. You make me so happy!

Anyasi Ray, now that November is here, I want to assure you that as we walk down the aisle this month, it'll be the beginning of the best life for you. I'll always stand by you, in total submission and love. I will be your help-meet, you will never lack support. You will be celebrated at the city gates. Ours will be a marriage as designed by God, a reflection of heaven on earth.

You're certainly not a perfect man. But I'm blessed to have strengths in some areas of your weakness and to be strengthened by you in my times of weakness. Thank you for being patient with me & accommodating my plenty excesses and for helping to mould me into your woman. ☺️☺️☺️☺️. We will grow into perfection together!

Our story began as one of faith, in God. It has blossomed into a testimony of love and God's faithfulness. May November be, for us, a perfection of this testimony and the beginning of happy ever-after!

Happy new month, my king. It's our wedding month. Yippee! 😍😍😍😍

Ray is a man of faith. When he first asked me to marry him, I had never met him! Not once. He'd seen me on 3 different occasions he came to worship in my church fellowship (N.C.F) while we were both in the University of Nigeria. Holla Lovelies, November 11th was a success by all standards.  The day my awesome  fiancé, Raymond,  graced Udi with his Umu n n a, to take me home   to A n iocha, as  wife. The night before, I laid out all my outfits after my choreography rehearsals, with plans to get some long beauty sleep.            Almost like clockwork, I was up at first cock-crow, excited to finally be getting married to the love of my life. Pamper Your Natural Hair!

Hair-lo lovelies, It's all coming together pretty great. I'm really catching the Wedding Planning fever. Yesterday was superb and my dream wedding is looking more and more like it'll come true! In the few months since I've moved to Lagos, I've had to struggle with getting quality care for my natural hair. Turns out there's just about 3 natural hair salons in Lagos. Two on the Island and one on the mainland. And none was anywhere close to me. So I've tried to be my own hair-hero, and that hasn't been easy. Especially since I plan to be a natural hair bride.
