Smile to the Bank on Your Wedding Day!

Hey lovelies,
It's been a while. I've been really busy planning my wedding that I nearly missed my birthday on Sept 2nd. I'll give you all the gist later.
The good thing is that as my wedding date draws closer, I've been made to see, that there are some practical ways to stay in charge of my planning. Between making deposits to different vendors and buying some of the best wedding items ever, I'm learning the wisdom in planning ahead and staying money-smart.
I've articulated some of my brilliant discoveries for you. And all because I love you.
These tips will leave you smiling to the bank after a successful wedding:
1. Know your indispensables, Eliminate the rest.
Don't go spending on the things that you don't care about. If you don't like bouquets, don't bother with one. Not a cake fan? no cake in the menu. Hate high heels? Go flats. Why have a white dress if you would love an Orange one? Your wedding, your rules!
2. You can't please everyone, you're not Nigerian Jollof!
The biggest mistake most couples make is planning their wedding to suit the public. News flash: The people that matter won't care, and the ones that care don't matter. Everyone gets a chance to have their own wedding, they should wait their turn.
3. Don't use all your Savings.
Spend only what you can afford. You're a young couple. Surely, there's several other things you need money for. A new home, a car, savings for your first baby, a honeymoon perhaps. Or your first business. It's all great if you can afford the grandest wedding dress and the choicest band, but only if you can really afford it. Don't spend your two years savings on a one day event.
4. Never borrow to finance your wedding.
This is a big no. The trick is to always remember the true significance of a wedding. It's the beginning of your marriage. And you don't need to start off that journey owing anybody. In fact, you can scrap a wedding reception entirely if you can't afford one. Just get your blessings, and you can disappear straight to your honeymoon. And that can be anywhere, including your new home. Stay focused on the most important things: the joining, the wedding certificate, your spouse!
5. Consult a Wedding Planner
I know you're probably thinking this would cost you more money. WRONG!
Here's why: 1)First, a planner will help you draw up a budget 2) Then he/she will lay out the best plans to ensure you have your dream wedding at your budget 3) Your planner knows far more wedding vendors than you possibly could. It's their job to know. This means they can get you the best prices possible for the best services. 4)Your planner is a wedding fairy. Their dream is to make your dream come true. So you get to put your feet up, while they work their magic and bring you a fairytale wedding. All within your budget!
***How do I know all this? I'm a wedding planner. And what's even more interesting, I'm planning my own wedding right now, so I know the challenges you're probably facing right now.
I'm here for you. Let's all have a beautiful wedding, shall we? Call 08131978457, let's give you the wedding of your dreams. And have you smile to the bank at the end of your special day!
😍😍😍
Your fairy wedding planner,
Mc Olivia.
